Today’s mail brought a pay slip from my previous employer. I was a little surprised as I had finished work about 6 weeks ago. Goodness, doesn’t time fly, and I’m not missing work at all. The agency had obviously underpaid me, and had to correct their accounting records. I received a small amount for Annual Holidays, minus deductions for tax and my Kiwi Saver account. The final amount deposited in my bank account was $1.34. Now, what do you think I should spend this on? It was hardly worth waiting for!
